Winner of the 2022 Conad Jazz Contest powered by Umbria Jazz, Mauro Patti has studied and performed alongside some of the world’s most renowned musicians, including Jeff Ballard, Greg Hutchinson, Jim Black, Ziv Ravitz, Ebo Taylor & The Family band, Victor Dey Jr., Ferenc Nemeth, Ralph Alessi, Jesse Davis, Demian Cabaud, Giovanni Falzone, Yonathan Avishai, Fabrizio Puglisi, and others. An active drummer in Italy, Patti has graced prestigious venues such as Blue Note Milan, Umbria Jazz, Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Temple of Segesta, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and more. In 2023 he released Telamon (Dodicilune), his debut large-ensemble project as a bandleader. He leads Telamon, Palma Nana and the Mauro Patti African Sextet.
